All proceeds from the Fest go to local charities. We will have receptacles on hand to donate your old eyeglasses as part of Lions eyeglasses recycling program.

  • Saluting Buzzard 2013 Nominees

    Come find out who wins the Saluting Buzzard Award at the Spicewood Buzzard Bump! With this Award, the Lions Club wishes to recognize the efforts of someone who has made a significant contribution to the Spicewood community. We will recognize each nominee at the Buzzard Bump and award the winners. The winner will be presented a check for $1,000 for a charity of their choosing at the Spicewood Lions Club’s 4th Annual Buzzard Bump on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

  • $1000 for charity - The Saluting Buzzard Award

    The Spicewood Lions Club is currently accepting nominations for its 2nd presentation of the Saluting Buzzard Award. The purpose of the Award, given annually, is to recognize one individual’s (or couple’s) contribution to the community of Spicewood during the preceding year. The winner will be presented a check for $1,000 for a charity of their choosing at the Lions Club’s 4th Annual Buzzard Bump on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

    The buzzards are circling in Spicewood, TX! This means only one thing; it’s time for the 4th Annual Buzzard Bump Fest! So save the date of Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 10 am to 7 pm for some good ole’ fashioned family fun! The 4th Annual Buzzard Bump is brought to you by the Spicewood Lions Club and Spicewood Plumbing & Spicewood Propane (the festival’s “Soaring Buzzard” Title Sponsor). The festival site is located in Spicewood, only 35 miles northwest of Austin on Highway 71, between the towns of Bee Cave and Marble Falls.
